Introduction

On May 25th 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force, requiring you obtain explicit consent from EU users to use their data and display ads based on their interests.

To comply with the law, you must integrate a system that requests consent from the user and offers them the possibility of revoking said consent at any time (Consent Management Platform or CMP). You can find a list of IAB authorized CMPs here: https://iabeurope.eu/cmp-list/
