Introduction

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a state-wide data privacy law that regulates how businesses all over the world are allowed to handle the personal information (PI) of California residents.

The CCPA came into effect on January 1, 2020 and requires, among other things that final users have the right to information, access, opt-out, opt-in, deletion and portability.

So if you have final users from California, you must comply with their law and send consent information in ad requests coming from those users as follows. You should send the consent information adding this line of code before the ad request call.
